MINDERIO goes BLICKFANG Stuttgart
At the beginning of 2026, we started the year with many new ideas. One of them – our own stand at the BLICKFANG Design Fair in Stuttgart's Liederhalle. No sooner said than done: after our application, we were selected as one of the curated labels. This was the starting signal for our trade fair planning.
Preparation begins
The weeks leading up to BLICKFANG were characterized by many small steps. From the conception of a complete exhibition stand that not only showcases products but also reflects our values. It was about flooring, harmonious display shelves, color schemes, and the question of how much space an object needs to make an impact. At the same time, the less visible but equally important preparations were underway: branding bags with our logo, writing price tags, setting up a mobile payment system, and preparing inventory. Many details that remain in the background but are crucial for a coherent overall impression.
Spontaneous Stopover: Pop-Up Shop in the Heart of Stuttgart
In the midst of preparations, a wonderful opportunity arose: a POP UP event in Tübinger Straße. Not planned, but all the more valuable. With four other Stuttgart labels from the fashion, jewelry, and interior sectors, we were able to present our products in a new context. A kind of dress rehearsal – and at the same time a day full of exchange, encounters, and a first taste of 'exhibitor life'. Accompanied by a drinks sponsorship from Dinkelacker from the building opposite, it turned into a perfectly harmonious day.
After the POP Up Event, it's before BLICKFANG – and so we entered the final phase. We set up the exhibition stand experimentally in our warehouse. Every detail was thought through, every placement deliberately chosen. For the first time, it became visible how all the ideas came together to form a complete picture. A bright, calm space was created – only the white partitions were still missing to complete the concept.
Arriving at the Liederhalle
On Thursday, we drove to the Liederhalle with a packed car. Boxes were unpacked, shelves were assembled, and the logo was attached. Around us, a lively exhibition landscape gradually emerged, accompanied by music, cordless drills, and the busy hustle and bustle of construction.
Our stand also took shape. When the last pieces finally found their place, that moment arrived: everything fell into place. The stand was ready. And it was exactly as I had imagined it – perhaps even a little more beautiful.
Start of BLICKFANG
Friday 12:00 PM – the doors open to visitors.
A queue was already waiting for admission. The first interested visitors approached our stand, inspected our pieces, and touched the materials. They inquired about materials, origin, and the idea behind MINDERIO. What followed was a weekend full of wonderful encounters, direct exchanges, and fulfilling conversations – about design, craftsmanship, and conscious creation. It was precisely these direct encounters and immediate feedback that made all the difference and brought me great joy. To see how people reacted to our products, what touched and interested them, was the most valuable part of the fair for me.
A look ahead
BLICKFANG was more than just an exhibition for MINDERIO. It was a first step to make our products visible locally in a stationary setting. I take a lot away from these days. Above all: the desire to continue on this path. Further exhibitions, new places, new encounters.
And who knows... perhaps MINDERIO will soon have a stronger local presence in Stuttgart.
